Hills Harvest Exchange

Hills Harvest Exchange (HHE) is a community fruit and vegetable swap held on the first Saturday of the month from 10 am to noon at the Adelaide Hills Natural Resource Centre.  It is going to be held this Saturday on June 2.

Members bring along their excess home grown or home baked produce and take home any produce they can use. This reduces food wastage and food miles and gives members access to fresh food. Membership costs only $5 per year.

This month, we are commemorating  World Environment Day by celebrating the work of people who have been nominated by members of the community as Quiet Green Achievers.   If you are coming to the HHE,  you are welcome to attend the small ceremony and a shared lunch.

New members are encouraged to take part. You may come along to see what happens before you decide to join, have a cuppa and you must try the guacamole.
