You are invited to meet Neville Bonney, author of “Knowing,growing, eating edible wild native plants.”
He can answer questions such as
- Which native food plants can you grown in the hills?
- What conditions are needed to grow healthy plants?
- How do you cook them?
- Find out about greens and herbs, fruits, nuts, condiments and fermentation use.
Neville has had a lifetime of growing native plants in a variety of conditions. He is the author of many books and the latest “Growing acacias for food and conservation” will be available for sale on the day along with a selection of food plants. There will be tastings of native foods during the day, including biscuits, Pavlovas and chocolates.
