Wattle seed pav, anyone?

You are invited to meet Neville Bonney, author of “Knowing,growing, eating edible wild native plants.”

He can answer questions such as

  • Which native food plants can you grown in the hills?
  • What conditions are needed to grow healthy plants?
  • How do you cook them?
  • Find out about greens and herbs, fruits, nuts, condiments and fermentation use.


Neville has had a lifetime of growing native plants in a variety of conditions. He is the author of many books and the latest “Growing acacias for food and conservation” will be available for sale on the day along with a selection of food plants. There will be tastings of native foods during the day, including biscuits, Pavlovas and chocolates.

When?   Sunday, November 11, 10 am – 2 pm

Where?  Adelaide Hills Natural Resource Centre, 4 Crescent Drive, Norton Summit.
