George French Angas and South Australian Ethnology

portrait_young_man_2-233x300Dr Philip Jones, Senior Curator of Anthropology at the SA Museum will be speaking about George French Angas, (1822-1886), naturalist and artist. During his talk, he will make brief references to encounters with the Peramangk people whose traditional lands are primarily located in the Adelaide Hills, and also in the southern stretches of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
