watering-wicking-bedsThe gardens around the AHNRC and The Summit  are lovingly cared for by a wonderful group of  volunteers – and we desperately need more hands to maintain the garden areas and to help develop new spaces.

Anyone with experience in native plants will love the  Native Grassland – it needs tender weeding and care. Guidance will be provided so you can learn how to identify grasses and plants and help with seed collecting.

The Sensory garden is under development and will benefit from some special attention.

Green thumbs are invited to take over the wicking beds to grow vegies.

We need someone to assist with landscaping – to create a bird café area, paths and other features.

The current group meet on Wednesday mornings and would really enjoy more company. Call or email to let us know what your interests are – your help will be really appreciated by us and the butterflies and skinks!
